They live on your real desktop, not inside a game window. They don't know those are apps.

• They stroll across your browser, settle on whatever you have open, and jump between windows.
• Put out a food bowl and some toys. Different breeds have different preferences. What draws one does nothing for another.
• Wild visitors show up when conditions are right. Some only come at certain hours.
• A collection journal tracks who has visited. Adopt the ones that keep coming back. Takes enough visits and some coins to bring one home.
• No sessions, no timers, no pressure. They don't compete with your work. They just live nearby.

Set things up, get back to whatever you were doing, and look up later to find someone new sitting on your screen.
